It's dog art. Mud on glass. The artists (there are two) seem to be saying: Don't shut us out of your comfortable existence with your scraps of cinnamon toast and leftover scrambled eggs. We want to challenge your idea that "normal" equals opposable thumbs and a brain larger than a walnut. In exchange, you give us the toast.
