Hank had his first skateboard lesson from a helpful teen at a nearby park. We found out Hank rides goofy, not regular. He needs to work on learning to pop an olley, which is where you jump in the air with your board magically attached to the bottom of your feet. It's a prerequisite to most other stunts, so we were told. He also told Hank that you should really wear long shirts and pants to minimize scrapes and bruises and -- in today's case -- 2nd degree burns from falling on burning hot ramps made of sheet metal.
