The Do Rag Phase

Here we are at the dentist office this morning getting ready to take care of some cavities. Hope is making sure that she has packed bubblegum in each and every crevice in her mouth.

The kids are wearing do rags everywhere they go. It started Saturday at a pirate-themed birthday party. Hank asked to go to JoAnn Fabrics to find some patriotic material for a Fourth of July scarf, a la one of the brothers from The Naked Brothers' Band. Fabric was on sale so we came away with a few extra pieces. I know he was teased on the playground yesterday but he wanted to wear one again today even though it is 150 outside.

We hope this is a short-lived phase.
