Overheard at rehearsal and, Am I a hayseed? Yeah, I think I am.

Tonight the second bananas sang one of the big, fun songs from the upcoming show. I'm not very much up on who's who in the singing business but, quite obviously, the female second banana role is being sung by a Who's Who.

"Is that somebody we're supposed to know? She's a pretty good singer."

(Cough) "Yeah. I suppose she's okay. For this role."

"Yeah. I guess she'll do."

"Yeah."
