"Forced Family Fun Night" is what the kids' swim coach, Chuck, calls it. Hank is at the age where he can think of a million other things to do besides hang out with his family. So after a pretty amazing 11 year old temper tantrum, he realized the only option was to submit to his parents' fun plan.
The stadium is BEAUTIFUL. It was FREEZING. And hot dogs cost $7.50. There was an espresso stand selling hot chocolate and red velvet cupcakes.
The quote of the night came from Hope:
"I was gonna get one of them foam fingers but I saw they were 8 bucks and THAT'S just STUPID."
We had a blast, actually. (Cranky Hanky bought a T-Shirt.)
LFT (Lovely Family Torture). Spending time together?! Imagine the audacity of a mother to think that would be a good idea!
