Japanese artifact

The first graders need to come up with a Japanese artifact and write a paragraph about it for a school display. I tried to suggest that Hank use a piece of Japanese kimono fabric along with a Japanese character but he would much rather feature a picture of himself in our Honda Odyssey. I also suggested he put on his coat this morning before he got in the car for the picture but he said the kids wouldn't be able to see his shirt. And, by the way, it was Mr. Bickerson who suggested that Hank sit in the driver's seat for the picture. I thought we'd just take a picture of the car alone.
