Yesterday he showed me a scrape/bruise he received on his stomach during the game of dodge ball. Hank has always tried hard to maintain the "it didn't hurt" facade, but he told me he cried a little when it happened. I asked if any of the instructors came to his aid and he said, "No. They didn't see it. But one kid who did said, 'Dude, r u ok?'"
That's better than nothing, I guess.
By the way, the instructors? Crazy, helmet-less daredevils:
