The more things change

Among other things, I loaded a police scanner feature onto my phone last night and later retrieved my long-lost shawl project from our chorus manager. I left my knitting bag there a few weeks ago after rehearsal. I have an application on my phone called, "Knit Buddy," that helps you keep track of your needles and materials and projects. I'm imagining a relaxing evening at home tonight, listening to Minneapolis police and fire crews on the scanner while I work on my shawl. Just like my Nanny might have done had she lived to see 2009.
