through a year

of kindergarten

in which

my teacher only spoke

Mandarin!

Update on the Chinese speaking child in our family: Although she has been the energizer bunny in our family all year, she appears to be catching up on some MUCH needed rest today and has been napping and snoring in her room since 5 p.m. after a bit of a crying jag. I believe the girl has needed a nap since way back in 2003.
